Beauty, variety and joy of work. The yearbook of the FA CTU illuminates creation on all scales

The yearbook regularly maps the past academic year. This year's guest curator, Daria Balejová, and Jan Stibral, selected a shortlist of several dozen school works from the thousands of projects produced at the school each year. "We used the size and thematic scale tools to select from the student projects. It allowed us to represent the wide range of themes that students and their teachers use projects to explore: things, interventions, buildings, places, settlements, landscapes, and territories. The projects are therefore categorised according to established labels from size XS to XXL," explains the curatorial team.

In addition to selected projects, the book provides an overview of exhibitions, social events, workshops, and competitions. It also presents selected publications in which teachers, scientists, researchers, PhD students, and postgraduate students have participated. The yearbook also includes five interviews with alumni and faculty members, providing a generational and multidisciplinary account of their time at the College.

The guest artist this time is Tereza Šiklová, a Prague UMPRUM graduate who depicted typical situations and humorous details of the daily and annual life of the Faculty through her personal illustrations.

The yearbook is available for purchase at the IKAN press centre on the ground floor of the  Faculty of Architecture, in Page Five and Juditina věž bookstores and the KOSMAS network.
