MALEŠICE-HOSTIVAŘ INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT

Production has been present in the city since its formation. However, since 19th century, due to its adverse effects on the environment, it began to be pushed away. Many industries have also moved from Europe to Asia for cheaper labour. With the advent of robotics, automation, clean technologies, the need for more qualified personnel and the desire for partial autonomy, there is a certain turnaround. This work examines the potential of the largest industrial area in Prague. It confirms its production function and defines the rules for its effective functioning.
