Vltavská - The connecting link of Prague

The topic of this thesis is the completion and regeneration of the site around metro station Vltavska in Prague 7. The design addresses the area of Vltavská region as an important link connecting the historical center with the future modern center in Holešovice peninsula. The aim is to improve the permeability of the area and create a quality urban environment. The project diversifies the activities and exploits the potential of the Prague waterfront location for the construction of citywide significance (multifunctional concert hall), which complements the image of Views of Prague. The work represents a design of the waterfront usage and strengthening the contact between the location and the river.
