Urban Rhizome
Annotation
In order to change the view of urban planning, this project was based on the idea of "landscape first". As a result, this means that landscape was conceived as the first step towards the subsequent implementation of urban planning around the idea of landscape. This particular approach is based on the two main formative elements of a particular place: people and existing vegetation. Thus, a deeper analysis results in a general discontinuity across many different modalities. Therefore, connectivity was considered as the main goal of the project. To achieve this goal, the concept of the rhizome, roughly following Deleuze and Guattari, was used by using existing ruderal vegetation as the backbone of the named rhizome.

Teamwork is common at TUM, both in studios and in other subjects. You have to choose a group of people in your team that you really get on well with, and then it's a real pleasure to work! More people, more power and more ideas.
