The urban design focuses on the Nefenfeld district, located in the town of Widnau/Au in Switzerland. The goal was to create a neighborhood that is prepared for life in the post-fossil era, which is inevitably approaching. Therefore, it was necessary to pay close attention to the environmental impacts of the design while also creating an attractive and functional living environment.
my key experience from erasmus
During my Erasmus study stay in Liechtenstein, I gained a key experience that influenced my approach to architecture. Sustainability was the main theme of our studies—we covered it in lectures and visited places where we saw concrete examples of ecological projects. Liechtenstein shows that it is possible to combine care for the environment with beautiful nature and functional cities. They take this approach to sustainability very seriously, which inspired me to consider it more responsibly in my studies and designs.
