Therapeutic ultrasound

Diana Brablcová

Annotation

Ultrasound therapy is an effective rehabilitation method that uses sound waves to treat muscle and joint problems such as sprains, muscle strains or chronic pain. The duration and intensity of the therapy is usually adjusted by the physiotherapist to the individual needs of the patient, and then he is left to carry out the treatment alone - just as if he could do it at home. When designing the home ultrasound, I focused on the ergonomics of the grip of the ultrasound head so that it offers more holding options according to the needs of the user, and on simple operation and storage of the device. In the end, I chose an unobtrusive design that fits into every home.
