Pilgrimage Bridge
Annotation
Thinking about the future of a new city is not possible without thinking about what people will be like, how they will behave, what they will do and what they will believe. In today's age of "prosperity," it turns out that people turn away from religion on a large scale. But is it a loss of faith or has it just transformed and clung to other values such as consumption and entertainment? The bridge design responds to this complex question and seeks to map the situation of what a pilgrimage for a "religious" purpose would look like if it were entertainment and consumption.
