NOVÝ TĚŠNOV AND FLORENC
Annotation
Severojižní magistrála arterial road running through the centre of Prague is one of the busiest roads. From Hlavní nádraží to the Hlávkův most, it crosses Prague by an off-ramp road. This road does not correspond to the original plans, when a development was built that did not envisage bridging the area. The proposal addresses how to adapt the road to the original plans. Instead of Severojižní magistrála, Wilson Street Boulevard is to be created and will follow the original alignment prior to the construction of the bridge. The boulevard will thus create a new grouping of land where new development will be built. The proposal includes new green areas that connect to Vítkov and continue from both sides of the railway to Masarykovo nádraží.
