Cultural center and market Přeštice
Annotation
Přeštice is a small town of seven thousand south of Pilsen. Historically, it is famous for the production of pork, but above all the dominant feature of the monumental building of the Baroque church. Near the church there is the area of the Přeštice pig with a baroque barn, which was breathed new life. The new building of the cultural center is partially sunk into the terrain, which allows the movement and use of its roof, and at the same time frames the view of the city's landmark and the surrounding landscape. The reconstructed Baroque barn will serve as a market with a café. Thanks to the well-thought-out urbanism of the place, a friendly public space was created here, which this place lacked very much. Various events can take place there: a summer cinema, a theater stage or an ice rink
