Exhibition of Studio Projects
Jewish Museum
Annotation
The design of the Museum is a symbolic and spatial expression of historical context. On a physical level, it refers to the floor plan and spatial intersection of two synagogues, where the plan of the intersection becomes the basis for the interior walls of the museum, layered on top of each other in two levels. Since they grew out of the intersection of two historical contexts, they become the bearer of historical information, they are ready to carry a museum exhibition.
They are the core in which the energy of the place is concentrated. This core must have an envelope, a container that protects it from being destroyed again. This container itself is an image of a rock - a symbol of protection.
