The design of the chamber is set in a brick barn, which fits into the context of the farmhouse and serves as a protective layer for the events inside. The anechoic chamber is a specially designed space that features extremely low sound pressure and minimal sound reflections. The aim of the chamber is to provide an environment of near absolute silence that allows for a variety of acoustic testing, research, therapy and relaxation. The chamber is designed with an emphasis on isolation from external sound. The walls, ceiling and floor of the chamber are designed to minimize sound penetration from the outside. They are constructed of rammed earth, which provides sound insulation and acoustic stability. On the other side of the barn, also made of rammed earth, is a back room for controlling the
