Jewelry box The Hedgehock
Annotation
During the summer semester, I worked on the concept of opening and closing up the jewellery. I wanted to make the process of hiding a certain piece a fun thing to do, as well as to make the piece disappear in a mass. When opening, my goal was to highlight the moment of surprise, while maintaining the awareness of what I am actually wanting to find. Final hemisphere is bended from the downside to the upside with spines hiding the jewellery when on the downside, and also the spines holding and offering the jewellery when on the upside. The whole volume of the closed "box" is expanded on the outside when opened.
