Two-generation house

Unconventional house for two generations is located on Komenského street in the centre of Nové Město nad Metují. On a narrow plot, on the axis of the opposite street, an atypical house was built, which hides a vertically divided space behind its legible facade. It does not use walls to divide rooms and spaces, but changes in floor levels, while the spaces are defined by furniture assemblies. In this way, the house serves two generations of the family. On the first floor there is an apartment for grandparents. This unit has an entrance from the street and is quite wheelchair accessible, in case of mobility problems. At the same time, this apartment is connected to the garden.
