Annotation
We are slowly ascending along Pivovarnícka Street, and ahead of us, many trees emerge. The sidewalk narrows, the noise of the city fade away, and we only hear the chirping of Rokytka and occasional rumbling of a train. Instead of city blocks, we see family houses on the hill and chickens running on the road. Am I still in the city?
At the intersection of two urban structures, I propose two residential buildings. The house on the northern plot leans towards the city. It firmly holds the street line and competes in height with the surrounding block houses. Conversely, the house on the southern plot approaches the garden city and life in the former emergency colony.
Living outdoors, in the garden amidst meadow flowers and tall trees by the stream, yet still in the city.
