The Drobnokvět Primary School

The Drobnokvět Primary School is proposed for the Jarov district of Prague. It responds to the new development of a district near the Žižkov Freight Station. The main idea is based on combining four simple blocks into each other, divided according to their functions. Capacity is designed for 540 students, the headquarters is connected to the kindergarten by a bridge that runs through the public space. There is a large sports hall attached to the school which also serves the general public. Overall, the school and kindergarten have a unified material expression and respect their surroundings, creating a pleasant atmosphere for education and extra-curricular activities.
