Corner table lamp
Award
Annotation
A corner table lamp inspired by cast iron sockets of public lighting and the Arco Lamp, designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Cast iron is used here mainly because of its weight and serves as a solid base.
As in the case of the public lighting sockets, the whole consists of two parts that clamp the subtle tube with the lamp shade. The tube and the lampshade are reminiscent of the Arco lamp in their curve.
