Chillplace for students

The pergola is located in Opava on Bezručovo náměstí near several school facilities. The pergola is built perpendicular to the road that connects Bezručovo náměsti street and Vyhlídalova street. From the original stone paved path towards the far end of the pergola, a gradually loosening stone pavement is designed. It is a shelter that is built not only for students of these schools, but also for the public who visit Bezručova Park. The pergola offers privacy, but at the same time the so-called "social control" of passers-by takes place here. The pergola is made by wooden larch beams, which are connected to horizontally placed beams using carpentry joints and connecting steel elements. Part of the pergola structure is a bench, which is located on both long sides.
