DISPERSAL

The topic of the studio was the development of a proposal for the revitalization of Městská hora in Beroun. The assignment of the entire work is based on a real written competition announced by the city of Beroun. Currently, the full potential of this terrain outcrop in the otherwise flat valley of the city is not being used. All activities are concentrated in one part of the area under consideration. Vegetation begins to engulf the entire mountain as a result of inconsistent care for it, and there is no possibility to enjoy views of the surrounding forests and protected landscape areas. Therefore, the main idea was the overall dispersion of diverse activities and a dense vegetation curtain covering the panorama of the surrounding landscape.
