Student accommodation Flora

The aim of the assignment was to design the missing city block in the Flora locality. I designed student accommodation for a film school, which offers comfortable accommodation according to current requirements. The building is located on the north side of the property. The layout of the barracks on a larger open area in the northern part of the property defined the orientation of the accommodation units to the south, to the yard and communication areas to the street line. The building is divided into three functional units: a communication core with a spacious atrium, accommodation of various sizes, equipment and non-residential spaces. The facade consists of a vertical dominant - a wall tower in the central part and a horizontal - salon corridor with a light perimeter shell.
