House on a Hill

The Care House project deals with the increasingly pressing issue of the constantly aging population and the lack of capacity in places offering dignified retirement. Caring for people who can no longer take care of themselves is demanding, highly specific and thus requires a specific approach in designing a suitable architectural space. The House on the Hill takes on the character of a villa towering above the city with a view of the garden descending below. Allegorically, it offers residents a comfortable place to stay and spend their time in a variety of ways. It is a care facility with appropriate equipment for staff, including a doctor's office, physiotherapy, or a semi-public space.
