Reggio di Calabria lies on the most south tip of Italy, in the region Calabria. Just opposite of Sicily island, Regio was founded on one of the most seismic active zones in the Europe. This results in frequent earthquakes, some of which have destroyed the whole city in the past. Reggio is embraced by a wide coast, but due to the railway track that grasps it, the central coast is segregated and in disrepair. The aim of the project is to transform one of the wasteland area into a true gem for the city and citizens to be proud of.
