My inspiration whilst creating marketing item for Staropramen was a story from year 1942 when due to current situation was the brewery bricked so the Germans wouldn’t confiscate all the materials.
Brick wall thus became a strong motive for me. I wanted to aply this thought on an event held by the brewery. I chose the “Výčep pod komínem” (translated to “Tap under the chimney”) which is not so well known.
The combination of brick wall and a glass promised an ideal start for my work. That gave birth to the idea of making a glass that resembles said chimney and also carries the story from 1942 in itself.
