Sheep Farmstead Požáry

The circular Farmstead is located in the protected landscape area Křivoklátsko. Out of the planned buildings, only a barn and a granary were built with a radius of 130 m in the 19th century. To clearly differentiate between the old and the new the circle is completed by a wooden structure. The old barn becomes a sheepfold for up to 400 ewes and lambs. Into the granary is inserted insulated shell with a sheltered workshop. The circular wooden building connected to the sheepfold concentrates on the processing of meat, milk, wool and their sale. The southern third mainly consists of accommodation. The remaining part is a hayloft, parking for farm machinery and a veterinary office. The surrounding 40 ha divided by fruit trees serve as grassland for sheep. There is also place for bee hives.
