Jizerka Lodge

The work focuses on a comprehensive analysis of the surroundings of the village of Lázně Libverda and its historical building, the former Riedel Chalet. The objective was to explore various aspects of the locality, including its natural, historical, and cultural context, particularly concerning current needs and possibilities for its use. The analysis examines legislative, natural, urban, and architectural factors that influence the feasibility of constructing a new building on the site of the original structure. This research serves as a foundation for a thesis project, which will concentrate on a specific design that utilizes the potential of this locality while respecting its historical values, as well as the needs of the local community and tourism.
