The crossroads of generations, Velešín

The set of three buildings of the "Crossroads of Generations" community center is located in the parish garden in Velešín, South Bohemia. The project combines key features that create space for people of all ages to meet and collaborate. Building A is intended for housing the elderly and also includes a rehabilitation department. Building B is the heart of everyday life – with a café open to the public and spaces for a children's group. The smallest building C is dedicated to day care. As the name suggests, this space is designed to promote mutual encounter, understanding and cooperation between different generations. The buildings have a traditional shape with a characteristic gable roof, which helps preserve the local architectural tradition and does not disturb the peaceful atmosphere.
