The Vilémov monastery

We are located in Vilémov near Golčov Jeníkov. The village is located directly on the Czech pilgrimage route Via Czechia Central. The design of the monastery, brewery and accommodation for pilgrims is designed as a single complex. The concept relies on the existence of strong elements of the original Baroque courtyard and which it sensitively complements or replaces. One of these elements is the original pond situated on the site of the cloister gardens of the monastery. Another added important part is the chapel located below the water level, which by its location and materiality separates two different worlds. The whole complex is complemented by the north public area with paths, an orchard and isolating greenery, and to the east there are the original stables, partly used as parking.
