LIGHT BETWEEN THE TREES

The children's hospice is located at the intersection of the imaginary axes of the entire site. This site is thus designated as the centre, i.e. the heart of the whole area. The hospice is immersed in greenery and its position gives it the appearance of a pavilion in a park. It defines itself by its solid façade in relation to its surroundings and creates a world wrapped in itself that opens inwards. The façade is meant to resemble hands, open palms that protect the inner world but are also welcoming to their surroundings. The colour scheme of the hospice is designed to have a positive effect on its users, so that everyone can find a place for their privacy. The space is thus variable enough for different types of relaxation and also levels of intimacy. A place of life, peace and rest.
