HOUSING BY THE KARLOV POND

Residential houses in Karlov in the Křivoklát region provide farmers with the opportunity to live with their families close to where they work, bringing farm workers back into the countryside. The plot is located by Lihovar Pond which the buildings are fully connected to. It is a set of two identical two-story apartment buildings, each offering eight larger apartments. Due to the terrain, the houses are sloping to the south directly towards the water. The pond is accessed by a wooden pier system, which is connected to an inner courtyard dominated by a central large tree. The outdoor space provides a place for relaxation and seating, a play area for children or for growing plants. To the north along the road is a semi-open parking area for tractors used by farmers fot their work.
