Just like any other municipality, Nová Ves needs a reliable connection to the energy grid or local production of electricity and heat. These needs are met by two energy centers, each using a different energy source. The first energy center operates on the principle of a cogeneration unit with a capacity of 2.5 MWh, which burns natural gas and provides both electricity and heat to the village. The second energy center focuses on burning waste produced by the village. It also utilizes waste heat to heat a swimming pool located on the building's roof. The third building serves as accommodation, divided into two separate residential units intended for the staff of the energy centers.
