City in the city

Dolní Libeň, especially the Palmovka area, is today a place of chaos without a coherent character and without a clear future. With my proposal I am restoring order to the area, but also the picturesqueness and romance that historically belongs to it. In my design I play with the vistas and views that are typical of the area. I'm fascinated by Libeň's layering and I'm going for it. I give prominence to historically significant buildings that are overlooked today. Thus, I am designing four types of blocks of different character on Rohan Island and the Pentagon. The walk through Dolní Libeň leads from the city to the small town and back to the city. During the walk, we can peer into the inner blocks through a fence or a wall, and we can even walk through some of them.
