Palmovka

As part of the assignment "Cities within the City," we propose a new urban arrangement for Palmovka, inspired by the principles of Vienna's Ringstrasse. The core of the proposal is defined by a pentagonal framework. Within the pentagon, the original structure is sensitively complemented by compact urban blocks. The pentagon is delineated by boulevards that separate the central area from the outer parts of the site. Each side of the pentagon is defined by its specific function. The vertices of the pentagon form prominent building corners that serve as visual orientation accents, reinforcing the overall concept of the design.
