Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

South Bohemian Blatná, known as the city of roses, hides a cut-off and neglected sports complex in the very centre of the town. In the future, it should be transformed into a place that, in addition to sports activities, will also offer visitors cultural and educational experiences. Our design comes with a three-string concept: revitalization of the Závišínský stream, allowing direct contact with the water environment by fragmenting the flood wall; a new blue path that connects all sports facilities in the area; and finally, a cultural and rose trail containing an outdoor podium with a gallery in the southern part and a rose garden in the northern part. New buildings are also integrated into the area with the aim of increasing capacities and ensuring a greater variety of activities.
