Wall of Holešovice

The Wall of Holešovice apartment building is located in the southern part of Holešovice, in close proximity to the market hall, and its dimension significantly changes the character of the whole area. Its location symbolically cuts through the block, ending the continuation of the existing residential development and creating a clear boundary between the historic factory and the newer zones. This intervention in the urban fabric not only redefines the visual appearance of the site, but also allows for a new passageway that connects the entire block and provides access to an otherwise neglected courtyard.
