Annotation

Cars, public transport, parking lots, high-rise buildings for residential and administrative use, shops, noise, silence, a park, and the largest Prague cemetery. All of this shapes the area around Olšanská Street. A strong context that forms the character of the place. I would like to use this inspiration as the foundation for the idea of the project – a combination of public and private, social and intimate. I want the shape of the building to shape the space around it, such as entrances, shops, seating areas with benches and trees.The apartments have terraces with views of the Žižkov Television Tower and the Olšany Cemeteries. The goal was to create a building that people consider a home, while also connecting housing with administrative spaces, shops, and nature.
