House in a gap HA1
Annotation
At the end of Haštalská Street, on the border of Prague's old and new towns, a seven-story apartment building fills a 90 cm gap between gables. The structure connects both cities while housing six apartments. The ground floor features a compact student apartment with a quiet garden, while floors two to five host monospaces for couples, divided into private and hosting areas by a corridor linking the loggia and staircase. A maisonette crowns the building like lantern, offering views of the old town. The architecture respects its surroundings, blending historical elements with modern design through height, facade division, and materials.
