THE TOWER AND THE TOWER NAP
Annotation
Three new structures, one tower and two lying towers, have been inserted into the Holešovice Market Hall space to brighten, revitalise, and modernise the area. The two horizontal structures form the main axis connecting to the Holka footbridge. These horizontals serve as student dormitories with a capacity for 400 students. The south-eastern part of the plot will feature a 167-metre skyscraper, aligned with a planned bridge linking Holešovice and Karlín. Overall, the interventions will improve orientation, accessibility, and significantly boost green and quality public space, transforming the Holešovice market into a lively, attractive hub of commerce, culture, and social life.
