APARTMENT HOUSE BOROMEJKA

The design of the Boromejka apartment building is part of a group of three separately designed apartment buildings, which, together with the building of today's post office, form a closed block with a courtyard in the vicinity of the main square in Zákupy. The southern edge of the common courtyard is enclosed by a simple and archetypal pair of low buildings that function as simple shelters for cars, which also contain enclosed storage spaces. The ground floor of the building houses commercial spaces accessible from the main street, and the courtyard provides access to the circulation core of the residential units located on the first and second floors. The residential building is designed in a friendly way with respect to its surroundings and uses typological modern elements.
