Dyleň. In the middle of nowhere and yet at the heart of Europe. An area with some of the cleanest air in the Czech Republic. A place where its heavy past can be felt at every step. These facts inspire one simple idea: to bring a little children's laughter to the area while letting them take deep breaths of fresh air. That is why, on the hill of Dyleň, at an elevation of 940 meters above sea level, a sanatorium for children with respiratory diseases has been built. The extensive concrete structure provides 61 beds for children and 12 beds in an adjacent tourist hostel. The complex also includes a 30-meter-high observation tower with a viewing platform offering panoramic views of both the Czech and German side.
