Anxiety and the Sound of Water

Remco Terryn

Annotation

This work centers around calming people who struggle with anxiety, using the sound of water. It consists of a gadget to carry into public spaces. With this gadget, you can listen to water sounds and regulate your breathing, creating your own space in a public environment. At home, you can lay the gadget down on the accompanying device. On this device, water will flow like a river past the gadget, taking all the stress accumulated throughout the day and letting it trickle down. Through choosing a couple words to describe how your day went, the device keeps a record of your emotional journey. With the click of a button, you can send this information over to your therapist to improve treatment.
