Annotation

The busy link between Žižkov and the centre, Parukářka, the oldest church in Žižkov and the new tower buildings, in the middle of all this I propose a permeable block of houses. Here one lives in spacious, light-filled flats with large terraces overlooking the treetops of the Žižkov cemeteries. Anyone can walk between the courtyards and see people spending time outdoors, growing plants in greenhouses or just contemplating in their gardens. My house also responds to the future of Olšanská Street and its potential to become an urban boulevard. It therefore opens up the public parterre not only to the main street, but also to the side streets.
