The last brick

The subject of the study was the design of an apartment building in Prague's Žižkov. The plot is located between Hartigova, Roháčova and Ostromečská streets. The building is situated in the south-eastern corner of the plot, has 6 above-ground floors, of which the highest floor is stepped back, creating terraces accessible from the apartments. On the typical floor of the house we can find 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments and on the 6th floor two large two-generation apartments. The facade of the house is a minimalist combination of structured plaster and white bricks, which are used as railings at the loggias and for partial shading of some windows.
