Orbital Plaza

Orbital Plaza project is a public space design project located in Prague 8 as part of new urban proposal for redesigning Starý Střížkov and the highway that connects Střížkov and Bulovka areas. Project focuses on one block of buildings that is located near the main transport artery of new proposal. Design is based on the intersecting circular shapes – therefore that’s where the projects receives its name from. The main objective of the design was to create distinctive and recognizable shapes while still providing the basic necessities for the residents of this area such as transits, accessibility, resting and recreation, communication, access to greenery, shopping etc.
