Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

The hospice is situated in relation to the orthogonal system of Edvard Beneš Street. The L-shaped building surrounds the railway, whose noise is muffled by a green mound. The sound from Doudlevecká Street is isolated by the terrain elevation. The proposal includes a new street and a pedestrian connection to the plateau. The aim is to create an environment for parting and meeting, balanced between privacy and interaction. The rooms are reminiscent of apartments, allowing for privacy and engagement in communal living. The combined construction uses wood and concrete, and the rooms are glazed. Common areas on the ground floor offer facilities for activities, overlooking a peaceful garden. Spacious terraces connect the building to the surroundings.
