High Speed Block - Smíchov Market Hall

We divided the site into two primary zones: a large, open outdoor space and an enclosed market hall. The market’s design emphasizes openness, with the concrete roof serving as the architectural centerpiece, drawing attention to the structure's bold identity. The spatial layout is thoughtfully organized into two main areas, connected yet distinct, with a train passing through the market hall. Beneath the train tracks, we envisioned a gallery space designed to promote movement, interaction, and connectivity. This corridor acts as a vibrant, dynamic thoroughfare, fostering seamless engagement between visitors and their surroundings.
