VENTILA

The urban environment is constantly evolving, and with it the need for interventions that not only respond to problem areas, but also create new opportunities for housing and a quality living environment. One such place is the space above a busy and visually unattractive junction, which in its current state is more of a barrier than a connecting element in the urban fabric. This project focuses on the design of a house that addresses this problematic space and transforms it into a new residential element. The house becomes not only a response to the visual and functional deficiencies of the intersection, but also a key component of an emerging neighbourhood that provides modern housing, public space and encourages neighbourhood interaction.
