Olšanská has the potential to become the centre of Žižkov. It combines old pavilion Žižkov and modern development. The aim is to connect Parukářka, the cemeteries and St. Roch Church. Olšanská will be expanded with public spaces, but will keep a clear street line and gain a lively parterre attracting people to stop. Houses will offer large windows, dormers, loggias with treetop views. Courtyards will provide space for relaxation, barbecues and playgrounds. Apartments will be connected, open, with privacy, with private front gardens. The roofs of the houses will become community gardens with views of old and new Žižkov. From the public boulevard one will smoothly transition to quieter, more private areas. From a balanced tree line to a disparate nature.
