Conversion of outbuildings Žitenice

The project for the revitalisation of the outbuildings under the chateau in Žitenice transforms the abandoned area with respect to its historical character. Authentic elements such as arches and cast-iron columns are preserved and the buildings are adapted to new functions. The first building will become a distillery with an orchard, while the other buildings will serve as a bakery, a confectionery and a farmers' market. The last building will offer a community hall. The courtyard, with its combination of clay and paved areas, will allow for multifunctional use for markets, concerts and cultural events, and the proposal will return the site to its functional and cultural value.
