Colombarium

The aim of the project is to create a respectful and peaceful place where the citizens of the village can mourn their dead. The project consists of a recinto divided into three parts, each embodying an essential value: silence, respect, and memory. The first part is the entrance, containing essential rooms where visitors leave behind the noise of the streets and begin their journey. The second part is a small chapel where funerals are held. The final part is the cemetery, a spacious area for the deceased.The materials reflect the importance of the place: marble is used throughout, capturing and reflecting light. The connection with the sky is crucial, symbolizing the bond between humans and nature and creating an even more spiritual atmosphere.
