Walled comfort
Annotation
One of the characteristic and picturesque corners of our beautiful Czech Republic is the Cheb region, which is inherently linked with traditional half-timbered buildings. In this proposal, I am focusing on a specific location in the village of Lipová, near the transmitter on Dyleň Hill. As one of the concepts I chose to focus on the craft and artistic use of the space. The architectural design of the building is based on a modern interpretation of a traditional half-timbered house, both in the interior and exterior. The ground floor is made of traditional masonry, complemented by wooden elements in the windows, wooden floor and ceiling beams. The entire attic is made entirely of wood, including floors, walls and rafters, creating an authentic and welcoming atmosphere.
