Lochkov elementary school

The elementary school in Lochkov is designed as a key element of the newly planned development in this district, located on the edge of the Radotín-Chuchle Grove nature park. The school, accommodating 9 classes with one parallel for both the lower and upper grades, combines modern teaching methods, community life, and a sustainable approach. The building is divided into two volumes – an educational section with an atrium at its heart and a second section housing the cafeteria and gymnasium. The combination of structural concrete on the ground floor and pastel-toned ceramic cladding on the upper floors creates a visually and functionally harmonious environment. The school offers a variety of outdoor spaces, from sports facilities to quiet zones with trees and an outdoor classroom.
